In the late 60’s & early 70’s, as a division of their furniture and weaving loom manufacturing business, the Schacht Brothers began to produce custom millwork. Supplying custom home builders, other manufacturing companies and commercial architectural millwork firms, they earned a reputation as the supplier of choice for tight tolerance mouldings with a “furniture” finish. The business grew steady through the 1980’s and early 90’s while maintaining their premium standards. In 1997, the company began an aggressive expansion. The milling business was spun off of the manufacturing company and a new partnership was formed with Dan Schacht, Vance Hines & George Witters. Learn More
